I have more than 25 years' experience Copy Editing, Proofreading and Writing.
I have worked extensively in Print, Web, Digital and Social Media and have edited just about every type of copy, including web content, long- and short-form articles, blogs and social media posts to name a few.
As a writer, I have written feature-length articles, thought leadership pieces, press releases, web content, product descriptions, scripts, speeches and more.
I can polish and edit your existing copy until it's mistake-free and publication-friendly or write your article, blog, social media post, script or press release with that certain sparkle that will separate it from all others.
But the most important thing to know is I take the written (and typed) word seriously and it all began with a love of reading that turned into a general love of words. At Temple University, I earned a Bachelor of the Arts Degree in Communications with a Concentration in Journalism, wrote for the student newspaper Temple News and tried new things like painting and tennis.
That love affair with words turned into a career. I began a newspaper reporting job weeks after my college graduation, working my way up from a staff writer to an editor. I eventually became Editor-in-Chief at a decades-old community newspaper that was a beloved neighborhood staple.
Everything I learned during my career in newspaper — Creativity, Accuracy, Storytelling, Story Structure, Meeting and Respecting Deadlines, Time Management, Working Quickly and Correctly, proper Grammar, Punctuation, Spelling and more — has poured into the work I do for my clients.
